Intensive PRIVATE
PILOT TRAINING Program
We offer an Intensive PPL Program set up to assist clients reach their goals of flight in the most efficient way possible. Our Intensive PPL Program will allow you to get all your flight training required for a Private Certificate in as little as 4 - 7 weeks. Training starts off in the J3 Cub teaching you the skills of stick and rudder. Once solo we transition onto the Top Cub or Super Cub eventually granting you your full certificate in a Tailwheel Aircraft. You get a dedicated Pilot Instructor and aircraft set aside for your use throughout the training period so you never have to fight over scheduling. Your Instructor is available to you Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.
Part Time PRIVATE
PILOT Program
For many students the option of dedicating a month or two to flight training is not a logistical option. To that end we do offer hourly flight training out of our PNW location. You will still receive TacAeros same level of commitment to developing the best aviators possible, but on a more flexible schedule. Typically by spreading lessons out over time it becomes necessary to do additional training in the form of review of past lessons, this can add to the cost and time involved in achieving the goal of becoming a skilled aviator but is still very much achievable.
Tricycle FLIGHT TRAINING
At our PNW Base located at The Dalles Regional Airport we have a selection of Tricycle gear aircraft in addition to our Tailwheel fleet. For students either trying to trim time and expenses or simply more intrigued by progressing directly into instrument or commercial training upon completion of a PPL you have the option of training in a Cessna 150, or a Cessna 172S, as well as a Redbird full motion simulator.
